Central American Regional Scholarship Program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
The scholarships of the Central American Regional Scholarship Program of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD are aimed at graduates from Belize, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua who wish to pursue graduate studies at the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
These international scholarships in 2023 require an exclusive dedication during the development of master's or doctoral studies, as they are focused on people who plan to pursue a career in teaching and/or research at a higher education institution in Central America and the Dominican Republic.
Funding is generally granted for a period of up to 2 years for Master's programs or up to 4 years for doctoral programs.
You must have a first academic degree (bachelor's degree) if applying for a master's program, or a master's degree if applying for a doctoral program. The last academic degree must not be more than six years old.

2. Belgium
Master Mind Scholarships
The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training awards international scholarships in 2023 for Master's programs in Flanders and Brussels to outstanding students from all over the world. A Master Mind Scholarship includes a grant of 9 600 € + a tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS). Master Mind Scholarship holders pay only an administrative registration fee.
The grant is paid in installments and covers the costs of accommodation, insurance and an important part of your living expenses. If you are interested, you must first apply to one of the Flemish host institutions participating in the Master Mind Scholarship Program.

3. Taiwan
MOFA Taiwan Scholarship
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for the implementation of the Taiwan Scholarship Program aims to encourage outstanding international students to study in Taiwan with international scholarships in 2023. It also aims to promote bilateral exchanges and friendship between the peoples of Taiwan and its diplomatic allies. These guidelines do not apply to students from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
International scholarships in 2023 are awarded to students from countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan. However, special consideration may also be given to students from other countries.
Programs
Undergraduate Mandarin Language Enrichment Program (LEP): recipients may take the LEP for a maximum of one year at Mandarin teaching institutions (hereinafter referred to as "Mandarin Training Centers") affiliated with a university or college accredited by the Ministry of Education.
Degree Programs: recipients may apply for admission to any degree program leading to a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree, excluding in-service programs.
Award Period
LEP undergraduate: one year.
Undergraduate programs:
(1) Undergraduate program: maximum four years.
(2) Master's program: two years maximum.
(3) Doctoral program: four years maximum.
Award periods must be continuous, uninterrupted, and may not exceed a total of five years.
Financial Assistance
International scholarship recipients in 2023 will receive a monthly stipend of NT$25,000 for LEP and NT$30,000 for degree programs.
Recipients are responsible for all expenses during their stay in Taiwan. MOFA will not provide any other allowances. However, MOFA will provide recipients with one-way economy class airline tickets for direct flights to and from Taiwan.

The KOICA Scholarship Program (SP) is the master's degree course designed to offer future leaders in developing countries unique opportunities to learn Korea's development experiences and best practices and help them develop their professional and academic skills. Through this, KOICA hopes to contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries by offering international scholarships in 2023. The SP targets government officials from KOICA's partner countries, and around 400 students are selected for this program each year.
Started in 1997, the SP has produced more than 4,200 graduates from over 80 different nationalities. In partnership with leading universities in Korea, KOICA offers Master's programs (seventeen months in duration) in fields such as economics, trade, gender equality, rural development and more.
These Master's programs will be developed face-to-face in South Korea in English language.

EPFL Master Excellence Fellowships
To reward outstanding students starting their Master's studies, EPFL offers a limited number of Excellence Fellowships, in addition to guaranteed housing, to candidates who have achieved outstanding academic results and who distinguish themselves in extracurricular activities, whether in sports, the arts, civic or business.
These scholarships, worth CHF 10,000 per semester, are available to students who have earned their bachelor's degree at EPFL, as well as to those who have begun their university studies at another institution.

Located in Foz do Iguaçu, on the triple border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina, UNILA adopts Portuguese and Spanish as official languages in its academic activities.
Being a federal public university:
- Training is free for all courses.
- UNILA does not charge tuition or monthly fees.
- Admission is exclusively through selective processes coordinated by the University.
The Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA) receives registrations for the selection processes for international students (PSI), students from indigenous peoples (PSIN) and refugees and humanitarian visa holders (PSRH), for admission to undergraduate courses in 2022. Enrollment is free and there are 708 vacancies distributed among UNILA's 29 undergraduate programs.
As it is a federal public university, those who pass the selection process will be entitled to free tuition for the duration of their degree. All UNILA's undergraduate programs are face-to-face. Approved students will be notified in advance of any changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
